Megan Miller is a public health professional with more than 18 years of experience working in global health organizations with a deep interest in health communications. She has worked extensively on various topics related to health communications including leading the now dormant Internews Health Journalism Network of 2000 members from 87 countries, which had a strong focus on supporting grassroots journalism related to planetary health. She led a team of journalists from five countries to COP28 in Dubai to report on the first ever health day at a COP which has resulted in large scale publicity of planetary health topics across numerous international media outlets and the establishment of planetary health departments in newsrooms.

As the Director of Communications of the North American Hub, Megan  supports collaborative communication initiatives that advance the integration of human health and environmental sustainability across sectors and disciplines.  Planetary health is important to Megan because the intersection of human, animal and climate health ensures a sustainable planet and future and she is excited to be part of supporting solutions for the future.
