Noah Nicolson

Planetary Health Communications Fellow

Noah Nicolson (they/she) is a climate researcher and Planetary Health advocate driven by questions related to food justice and food sovereignty. Noah received their undergraduate degree in neuroscience and linguistics at Dartmouth College in 2023, where they also worked in emergency medical services and supported food justice efforts. Since then, they have worked in food systems and public health in Providence, Rhode Island, and served as Dartmouth College’s 2024-2025 Public Health Fellow in Hanover, New Hampshire. Noah spends a lot of time thinking about communication and translation, and how to best share ideas, experiences, and knowledge across physical and virtual spaces. To this end, she has worked with research groups such as the Powering Peace Initiative, local advocacy organizations, and national networks like the Dartmouth Climate Alliance to support effective service through research, social media, and in-person gatherings.

Outside of this work, Noah is also a painter and someone who enjoys tending to, talking about, and sharing plants (especially vegetables) with everyone who is interested.
