Sarah is the Senior Administrative Coordinator for the Planetary Health Alliance, supporting office daily life and budget operations. Her background is in global health and humanitarian systems. She worked for the Office of Health Systems at USAID as a Program Assistant, working on teams that addressed pharmaceutical regulatory systems, protections, and standardization for community health workers, information systems, and other Bureau initiatives. Sarah has 3+ years of experience supporting C-Suite or equivalent positions with scheduling, special projects, note-taking, drafting presentations and communications, and is skilled in knowledge management, event planning, and coordinating multi-institutional teams.
Sarah earned her Master’s of Public Health in Humanitarian Health from The George Washington University in 2023. She conducted research into how humanitarian institutions coordinate and collaborate, comparing policy to field experience. Sarah has a Bachelor’s of Medical Anthropology from the University of South Carolina. She worked as an AmeriCorps volunteer at Zufall Community Health Centers in New Jersey during the pandemic and enjoyed seeing all the community levers in action to keep patients safe. Sarah enjoys baking for friends, reading, cheering on the USC Gamecocks, and thrifting in her free time.
