Sharon Hartzell

Sharon Hartzell is a current graduate student in Environmental and Occupational Health at the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health, located in Washington, DC (US). Sharon has a background in chemistry and environmental science, and nearly a decade in public service across a variety of areas of research, policy, and practice. Planetary Health is a guiding framework for her future research, which considers both human and planetary systems in the context of resource management and built environment decision-making. Specifically, she is interested in studying how better climate health data can shape policy and planning decisions to build more sustainable and equitable futures for all.
