Stefan Wheat

Stefan Wheat, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Washington and Co-Director of Education for the Planetary Health North American Regional Hub. He specializes in climate change, health equity, and medical education, leading efforts to integrate climate and health into health professional training and national curricula. He founded ecoAmerica’s ClimateRx program and serves as Planetary Health Theme Director at the University of Washington School of Medicine. As Hub Co-Director of Education, he is excited to advance collaborative initiatives to strengthen planetary health knowledge sharing and action across North America.
