At Treeming, we are committed to promoting health in the holistic sense of Planetary Health – supporting both human and ecological well-being. Our contribution focuses on integrating Forest Bathing (Shinrin Yoku) as a powerful method of healing in an increasingly digital and overstimulated world. To make the many physical, mental, and social benefits of this practice accessible, we are developing an affordable online training program that combines theory with a wide range of practical exercises. Our goal is to make the art of forest bathing available to everyone, regardless of location or background. We seek active collaboration with the Planetary Health community to establish nature connection as a key element of sustainable health strategies and to co-create a more resilient, thriving future for people and the planet.

CABSIN integrates Planetary Health into its work by advancing evidence-informed policies and practices that connect human and environmental health through the lens of Traditional, Complementary, and Integrative Medicines. Our initiatives promote biocultural diversity, community resilience, and climate justice in Latin America. We aim to collaborate with the Planetary Health community by sharing evidence maps, co-developing research, and amplifying Global South perspectives on sustainable health systems. Through partnerships and knowledge exchange, we seek to co-create impactful solutions for people and the planet.

The Global Indigenous & Traditional Medicine Alliance (GITMA) integrates Planetary Health at its core by uplifting Indigenous and traditional healing systems that have long championed the interconnectedness of human and environmental well-being. We recognize that environmental degradation directly threatens the survival of ancestral knowledge, biodiversity, and community health. Through GITMA, we aim to foster mutual learning, co-create solutions rooted in cultural wisdom, and amplify Indigenous leadership in global health and climate discourse. We look forward to active collaboration with the Planetary Health community to ensure that Indigenous voices, values, and practices shape a healthier, more resilient future for all.

As the Osher Center for Integrative Health at the UW-Madison, we continue to provide high quality care to the individuals we serve in our health system and to partner with our specialist colleagues across our organization to expand access to integrative health care. We also have an increased capacity to partner with non-healthcare entities within our University and our community to explore innovative ways to not just treat disease, but to truly understand and help nurture the origins of health in all those we serve. We strive to be leaders in this next phase of the field of Integrative Health—Salutogenic Science. To do this well will require a greater recognition of the impacts of social determinants of health and pervasive barriers to healing such as systemic racism and climate change. We will also continue to raise our awareness and reconcile aspects of the Integrative Health field that are guilty of significant cultural appropriation in order to respect and honor healing traditions from which we have much to learn.

While there is much work to do, we move forward using the same principles that integrative health practitioners use to support healing in individuals—listening deeply first, seeking to understand common goals and then reflecting on how we can best be of service to support health and healing. We look for innovative paths to stimulate the inherent healing response within individuals and the incredible healing potential that arises when the best of our academic institution and communities work together for the well-being of all.

A Faculdade de Medicina da Universidad Leonardo da Vinci (ULV) – Paraguai incorpora a Saúde Planetária ao focar na formação médica e na pesquisa que reconhece a profunda dependência da saúde humana em relação à saúde dos ecossistemas. Nossas iniciativas visam estudar as interconexões ambientais e climáticas que afetam a saúde das populações locais e fronteiriças, incluindo a emergência de doenças e a segurança hídrica e alimentar. Pretendemos colaborar ativamente com a Aliança, compartilhando dados de vigilância epidemiológica e insights regionais, para desenvolver currículos e estratégias de intervenção que preparem a próxima geração de médicos para os desafios da crise climática e promovam a resiliência sanitária.

The climate and environmental emergency is a direct threat to human and planetary health and yet this is still poorly recognised across the healthcare value chain (professionals, employers and suppliers).

Health is a fundamental right of every human being; recognized in the WHO Constitution (1948), the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948) and many international and regional human rights treaties. We need good health to not just survive and thrive but to mitigate, adapt and innovate to fight the climate and environmental emergency. Our health is everything and right now, we need good health more than ever. The need for a healthy workforce extends beyond healthcare as all industries will become increasingly vulnerable as the emergency worsens.

CPDmatch is a not-for-profit website for healthcare professionals, employing organisations and those working in supplier industries to find the education required to deliver environmentally sustainable healthcare. Our goal is for all within the healthcare value chain to be confident in acting, communicating and inspiring others to tackle the triple planetary crisis of climate change, pollution and loss of biodiversity. Planetary health is one of our education categories.

Through CPDmatch, we will showcase the work undertaken and education delivered by the Planetary Health Alliance and member organisations. This will increase the reach and engagement with all forms of education, increasing climate and environmental literacy. In return, the traffic we receive will help increase CPDmatch’s domain authority with search engines which in turn, will result in more traffic to the PHA and member websites.

We believe collaboration is the only way forward as for climate and environmental emergency, we all cross the line together or none of us cross it at all.

PAN International is a global medical non-profit advancing nutrition in healthcare and medical education to reduce diet-related deaths while improving both personal and planetary health. By integrating Planetary Health principles across initiatives like the Green Food Experience, Healthy Hospital Food, and our Dietary Guidelines Initiative, we connect sustainable nutrition with climate action and systemic health reform. As an accredited UNFCCC observer, we bring nutrition into global climate dialogues and advocate for policies that protect people and the planet. Through the Planetary Health Alliance, we look forward to co-creating education, advocacy, and research collaborations that empower healthcare professionals, students, and communities to drive systemic change.

The Pakistan Physiological Society – Student Chapter (PPS-SC) is a national, student-led initiative that empowers future healthcare leaders through education, research, and innovation. We incorporate Planetary Health into our work by organizing seminars and research projects that explore the connections between environmental change and human health, conducting community outreach on climate-related health challenges, and equipping students with future-ready skills in sustainability and entrepreneurship. As members of the Planetary Health Alliance, we aim to collaborate with global partners to share context-specific insights from Pakistan, co-develop educational resources, and participate in joint research and advocacy initiatives. Together, we strive to advance solutions that address the intertwined health of people and the planet.

The Red CSA Colombia (Community Supported Agriculture Network of Colombia) is a national network that strengthens rural–urban connections, promotes agroecology, and fosters healthy communities through solidarity-based food systems. By supporting more than 20 CSA initiatives across the country, we integrate human and ecological health through fair markets, short supply chains, and participatory practices that regenerate ecosystems and improve nutrition. As members of the Planetary Health Alliance, we aim to share Colombia’s CSA experiences, engage in cross-regional learning, and collaborate on initiatives that link agroecology, food sovereignty, and community well-being.

The Global Climate and Health Alliance (GCHA) integrates Planetary Health as one of its core concepts, recognizing that protecting human health is inseparable from safeguarding the health of our planet. Through evidence-based advocacy, research, movement building, and communications, we work with 225+ member organizations in over 125 countries to address the climate crisis as a fundamental health challenge.

EquiRoots Climate Collective aims to build community climate resilience at the level of cities and bioregions. Through initiatives such as City Climate Cafés and bioregional water programs, we empower communities, cities, and companies to co-create solutions for climate adaptation and holistic health. By joining the Planetary Health Alliance, we seek to collaborate with members to co-develop educational programs, share best practices, and access resources that strengthen transformational initiatives connecting planetary, community, and individual health. We aim to integrate Planetary Health into our work by linking individual well-being with community and bioregional resilience, focusing on water, air, and soil quality.

The Bangladesh Institute of Innovative Health Research (BIIHR) is committed to advancing evidence-based solutions at the intersection of health, environment, and equity. Through research, capacity building, and policy engagement, we address pressing challenges such as climate change, food insecurity, and the rising burden of chronic diseases in Bangladesh and other low- and middle-income contexts. By joining the Planetary Health Alliance, we aim to contribute locally generated knowledge to the global community, foster South-South collaborations, and integrate planetary health frameworks into education and practice. We look forward to collaborating with Alliance members to strengthen resilience, promote sustainability, and secure a healthier future for people and the planet.

Fundación Salud Planetaria integra la salud planetaria en todas sus actividades mediante proyectos de restauración de ecosistemas, manejo sostenible del agua y huertas agroecológicas en la comunidad de Llay Llay, Región de Valparaíso, Chile. Trabajamos directamente con las comunidades locales, capacitándolos para aplicar prácticas sustentables en sus propios territorios, mejorando la salud ambiental y humana. Buscamos fomentar la resiliencia comunitaria y generar oportunidades laborales vinculadas a la restauración y gestión ambiental. Al unirnos a la Planetary Health Alliance, queremos colaborar activamente con la red global, compartiendo experiencias y aprendiendo de otros proyectos. Nuestro objetivo es ampliar el alcance de nuestras acciones para que las soluciones basadas en la naturaleza se puedan replicar en otras comunidades.

The University of Calgary’s Planeary Health hub, which is embedded in the Cumming School of Medicine’s Health Equity and Systems Transformation portfolio, has the mission to to embed the principles of Planetary Health and Sustainable Healthcare into all of the key activities of the Cumming School of Medicine: clinical care, education, scholarship, and community outreach. We also commit to ensuring we meet the key performance indicators of the AFMC Declaration on Planetary Health. We commit to partnering with the Planetary Health Alliance and its members to share resources, learnings and expertise in service of the overall PHA mission.

Lovexair Foundation is committed to advancing planetary health by addressing the links between environmental exposures, air quality, climate impacts, and human wellbeing through digital innovation and collaborative action. Our initiatives, such as the HappyAir Ecosystem and CheckAir tool, integrate environmental awareness with health promotion to build more resilient communities across the world. By joining the Planetary Health Alliance, we aim to share scalable digital tools and best practices, strengthen cross-regional collaborations, and learn from the diverse expertise within the Alliance. Together, we seek to bridge health, environment, and innovation to accelerate collective action for a healthier, more sustainable future.

Myanmar Community Health Society (MCHS) is committed to advancing Planetary Health with the belief that human health cannot be promoted by public health programs or professionals alone, and it requires diverse actors including those who recognize the interconnected well-being of humans, animals, and the environment. Through our programs in WASH, maternal and child health, humanitarian aid, and inclusive education, we apply a One Health approach to guide staff and volunteers in understanding interlinked issues and potential health threats within our target communities. We aim to collaborate with the Planetary Health community by sharing local insights, co-developing simplified and practical solutions at the community level, and mobilizing resources that strengthen resilience at the grassroots.

V-LIFE SAVERS Foundation is committed to integrating planetary health principles into its community-based initiatives aimed at improving environmental and public health. By fostering sustainable practices such as urban greening, waste reduction, and health education, we strive to create resilient communities that benefit both people and the planet. We look forward to collaborating with the Planetary Health Alliance and its members to share knowledge, exchange best practices, and develop innovative solutions that advance global planetary health goals.
