Lusaka Apex Medical University (LAMU) is committed to advancing Planetary Health through interdisciplinary health professions education, research, community engagement, and capacity strengthening that recognize the interconnectedness of human health and the natural systems on which it depends. Building on our strengths in medicine, public health, environmental health, nutrition, and other health sciences, we aim to more deliberately integrate Planetary Health principles into teaching, research, student engagement, and partnerships that respond to Zambia’s and Southern Africa’s evolving health and environmental challenges. Through the Planetary Health Alliance, LAMU looks forward to collaborating with institutions across the global community through knowledge exchange, joint research, education and training, policy engagement, and locally relevant action. We are particularly committed to strengthening regional collaboration and contributing Southern African perspectives, evidence, and experience to the global Planetary Health movement.

The Jindal School of Public Health and Human Development (JSPH) integrates Planetary Health into its mission through interdisciplinary education, experiential learning, and research that addresses the links between human and environmental well-being. Through its dedicated Planetary Health course, JSPH is preparing future public health professionals to tackle emerging global challenges using systems thinking and evidence-based approaches. By joining the Planetary Health Alliance, JSPH aims to collaborate with the global community to advance education, research, and capacity building while contributing its expertise in innovative curriculum design and experiential pedagogy.

The Vietnam Lifestyle Medicine Alliance (VLMA) is a physician-led, mission-driven professional organization advancing evidence-based Lifestyle Medicine in Viet Nam. We incorporate Planetary Health into our educational direction by highlighting the connections between human health, sustainable food systems, climate and air quality, the built environment, natural systems, and health equity. VLMA aims to strengthen Planetary Health education for healthcare professionals, adapt relevant knowledge and resources for the Vietnamese context, and facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration and locally relevant initiatives. Through the Planetary Health Alliance, we hope to contribute perspectives and emerging experience from Viet Nam while learning from and collaborating with members across South and Southeast Asia and the wider global community.

Dopasi Foundation integrates Planetary Health across its work by addressing the interconnected impacts of climate change, environmental degradation, social inequity, and health in climate-vulnerable communities. We advance climate-smart and low-carbon healthcare, strengthen preparedness and resilience in disaster-affected settings, and address occupational and environmental risks among populations exposed to extreme heat, air pollution, and hazardous working conditions. Through the Planetary Health Alliance, we aim to contribute community-based evidence and implementation experience from the Global South, while collaborating with members on research, innovation, policy advocacy, and scalable climate–health solutions. We are particularly committed to strengthening South–South and South–North learning and ensuring that community and civil society perspectives inform global Planetary Health action.

Noon is an ecological design-and-research practice in San Antonio, Texas. We design and build water-conscious living systems — acequias, bioswales, and soil and habitat restoration — on real properties, and we measure how those environments affect the people who live among them, treating land and human health as one system. In 2026 we published the Sensorial Performance Score, a framework for measuring how a place’s environment acts on human biology. Through the Planetary Health Alliance, we aim to hold our method to a shared scientific standard, contribute open, property-scale measurement and case records to the community, and collaborate with members working on ecological restoration and traditional water systems — particularly across the Americas, where our regional roots and bilingual capacity let us work closely. We join to learn from the Alliance and to help make planetary-health practice visible and replicable at the scale of a single place.

SM-VM integrates planetary health into its work by addressing the links between environmental conditions and human health, particularly in respiratory and allergic diseases such as asthma, COPD, eczema, and urticaria. Through community awareness, early diagnosis, and capacity building of healthcare workers, we aim to improve prevention and management of these conditions in a resource-limited setting. We recognize the importance of environmental determinants such as air quality and living conditions in shaping health outcomes. Within the Planetary Health Alliance, we look forward to collaborating through knowledge sharing, learning from best practices, and contributing field-level experience to strengthen collective action on planetary health.

The Department of Public Health at Daffodil International University incorporates Planetary Health into its teaching, research and community engagement by addressing the connections between human health, climate change, environmental degradation, food and nutrition security, water and sanitation, disaster risk and health equity. Building on the university’s SDG-oriented curriculum, sustainability initiatives and interdisciplinary research culture, the department seeks to strengthen evidence-based responses to Bangladesh’s climate-sensitive public health challenges, including coastal salinity, safe drinking water, maternal and child health, heat stress, pollution, food insecurity and disaster resilience. Through collaboration with the Planetary Health Alliance, the department aims to expand curriculum development, faculty and student capacity-building, joint research, policy engagement and community-based action. The department is committed to contributing Global South perspectives and practical experience from Bangladesh to the wider Planetary Health community while learning from international partners to protect human health and the natural systems on which health depends.

We aim to share the efforts of Japanese healthcare professionals who are promoting the concept of planetary health with colleagues around the world. Our organization is committed to supporting the mission and values of the Planetary Health Alliance and contributing the strengths of Japan’s medical community. We also seek to ensure that Japanese healthcare professionals remain actively engaged in global discussions by expressing our commitment to the vital connection between a healthy environment and human health.

The Wellbeing Services County of Päijät-Häme serves as co-chair of the Nature Step to Health Pro-gramme 2022–2032 in partnership with the City of Lahti and the Lahti University Consortium. Through this collaboration, we seek to learn from the members of the Planetary Health Hub, strengthen the application of research evidence in practice, and contribute Päijät-Häme’s experience in advancing practical ap-proaches to planetary health. Mutual learning and the exchange of knowledge are fundamental to this col-laboration. We would welcome support for both the county and the Nature Step to Health Programme through webinars on relevant themes, conferences that enable online participation, and initiatives that help translate research evidence into practical, day-to-day solutions for health, social and rescue services and their personnel.

Wanaprasta Foundation integrates Planetary Health principles through the development of tropical forest-based ecological medicine, regenerative healing ecosystems, and community-centered conservation initiatives in Indonesia. Through the National Forest Therapy Center Indonesia (NFTC), we aim to demonstrate how forests can function not only as ecological assets, but also as therapeutic infrastructures that support mental health, preventive healthcare, biodiversity conservation, and community resilience. Our work combines evidence-based forest therapy, interdisciplinary collaboration, regenerative design, and local wisdom to address the interconnected challenges of human health and environmental degradation. As a member of the Planetary Health Alliance, we hope to actively collaborate in global research, knowledge exchange, and interdisciplinary partnerships while contributing perspectives from tropical forest ecosystems and community-based healing approaches in Indonesia.

Community Action for Health and Development (CAHED) integrates Planetary Health into its work through community-led programs that connect public health, environmental sustainability, climate resilience, disability inclusion, WASH, and social equity in underserved communities in Kenya. Our organization promotes environmentally sustainable and inclusive approaches that strengthen the wellbeing of vulnerable populations while supporting healthy ecosystems and climate adaptation. Through membership in the Planetary Health Alliance, CAHED seeks to collaborate with global partners in knowledge exchange, research, advocacy, and community-driven innovation to advance equitable Planetary Health solutions. We are committed to contributing grassroots perspectives, local experiences, and inclusive practices that support healthier people, resilient communities, and a sustainable future for all.
