SM-VM integrates planetary health into its work by addressing the links between environmental conditions and human health, particularly in respiratory and allergic diseases such as asthma, COPD, eczema, and urticaria. Through community awareness, early diagnosis, and capacity building of healthcare workers, we aim to improve prevention and management of these conditions in a resource-limited setting. We recognize the importance of environmental determinants such as air quality and living conditions in shaping health outcomes. Within the Planetary Health Alliance, we look forward to collaborating through knowledge sharing, learning from best practices, and contributing field-level experience to strengthen collective action on planetary health.

The Department of Public Health at Daffodil International University incorporates Planetary Health into its teaching, research and community engagement by addressing the connections between human health, climate change, environmental degradation, food and nutrition security, water and sanitation, disaster risk and health equity. Building on the university’s SDG-oriented curriculum, sustainability initiatives and interdisciplinary research culture, the department seeks to strengthen evidence-based responses to Bangladesh’s climate-sensitive public health challenges, including coastal salinity, safe drinking water, maternal and child health, heat stress, pollution, food insecurity and disaster resilience. Through collaboration with the Planetary Health Alliance, the department aims to expand curriculum development, faculty and student capacity-building, joint research, policy engagement and community-based action. The department is committed to contributing Global South perspectives and practical experience from Bangladesh to the wider Planetary Health community while learning from international partners to protect human health and the natural systems on which health depends.

We aim to share the efforts of Japanese healthcare professionals who are promoting the concept of planetary health with colleagues around the world. Our organization is committed to supporting the mission and values of the Planetary Health Alliance and contributing the strengths of Japan’s medical community. We also seek to ensure that Japanese healthcare professionals remain actively engaged in global discussions by expressing our commitment to the vital connection between a healthy environment and human health.

The Wellbeing Services County of Päijät-Häme serves as co-chair of the Nature Step to Health Pro-gramme 2022–2032 in partnership with the City of Lahti and the Lahti University Consortium. Through this collaboration, we seek to learn from the members of the Planetary Health Hub, strengthen the application of research evidence in practice, and contribute Päijät-Häme’s experience in advancing practical ap-proaches to planetary health. Mutual learning and the exchange of knowledge are fundamental to this col-laboration. We would welcome support for both the county and the Nature Step to Health Programme through webinars on relevant themes, conferences that enable online participation, and initiatives that help translate research evidence into practical, day-to-day solutions for health, social and rescue services and their personnel.

Wanaprasta Foundation integrates Planetary Health principles through the development of tropical forest-based ecological medicine, regenerative healing ecosystems, and community-centered conservation initiatives in Indonesia. Through the National Forest Therapy Center Indonesia (NFTC), we aim to demonstrate how forests can function not only as ecological assets, but also as therapeutic infrastructures that support mental health, preventive healthcare, biodiversity conservation, and community resilience. Our work combines evidence-based forest therapy, interdisciplinary collaboration, regenerative design, and local wisdom to address the interconnected challenges of human health and environmental degradation. As a member of the Planetary Health Alliance, we hope to actively collaborate in global research, knowledge exchange, and interdisciplinary partnerships while contributing perspectives from tropical forest ecosystems and community-based healing approaches in Indonesia.

Community Action for Health and Development (CAHED) integrates Planetary Health into its work through community-led programs that connect public health, environmental sustainability, climate resilience, disability inclusion, WASH, and social equity in underserved communities in Kenya. Our organization promotes environmentally sustainable and inclusive approaches that strengthen the wellbeing of vulnerable populations while supporting healthy ecosystems and climate adaptation. Through membership in the Planetary Health Alliance, CAHED seeks to collaborate with global partners in knowledge exchange, research, advocacy, and community-driven innovation to advance equitable Planetary Health solutions. We are committed to contributing grassroots perspectives, local experiences, and inclusive practices that support healthier people, resilient communities, and a sustainable future for all.

The School of Natural Resources is pleased to collaborate with the Planetary Health Alliance in recognizing that the long-term health of humanity depends upon thriving natural systems. Our faculty, staff and students work across disciplines to address the environmental and social dimensions of sustainability, resilience, and conservation. By collaborating with colleagues around the world, we aim to generate innovative solutions, educate future leaders, and strengthen the capacity of communities to navigate a rapidly changing world. The University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) in Scotland seeks to advance Planetary Health through interdisciplinary research, education, knowledge exchange and community partnerships that recognise the interconnected health of people, animals, ecosystems and the environment. Through initiatives such as our university-wide One Health Strategy and the One Health Breakthrough Partnership, we work with communities, public bodies, healthcare organisations, industry and policymakers to address challenges including environmental pollution, climate change, biodiversity loss and sustainable development. As a member of the Planetary Health Alliance, UHI will seek to contribute evidence, experience and perspectives from rural, coastal, island and remote communities while developing new international collaborations in research, education and policy. We are committed to working with partners across the Alliance to generate and apply knowledge that supports healthier communities, healthier ecosystems and a more sustainable future for all.

SSE is committed to reducing the environmental footprint of Québec’s healthcare system. We bring together healthcare professionals through our Annual Conference on Sustainable Healthcare, which, in 2026, has convened over 250 participants from all parts of Canada, USA and Europe, to advance concrete climate action.
SSE is also leading a four‑year initiative to automate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions audits across six Québec healthcare systems, supporting data‑driven carbon reduction strategies.

Through collaboration with the Planetary Health Alliance, SSE seeks to contribute to a global community dedicated to planetary health—sharing field expertise, breaking down silos, and accelerating collective impact. We look forward to knowledge exchange, collaborative learning, and participation from Alliance members as panelists in our annual conference.

Health:Pitch is a pioneering creative health initiative in the UK that specialises in designing novel, informative opera-centric programmes facilitated by clinically-trained leads that bring together a diverse stakeholder group where public, charitable and private organisations collaborate alongside the community to address together the adverse, hidden health outcomes such as loneliness, social isolation and moral injury.
We aim to, in collaboration with PHA, to explore and develop a concept and ultimately a replicable PHA model in how the core PH principles can be practically and tangibly applied, and embedded from the bottom up in a project, using our Italian foundation and programme to be headquartered near Turin, Piedmont, Italy. Our aim being to establish an environment conducive to inspiring collaborative, transdisciplinary and kind engagement and solutions to address the global crisis of moral injury in healthcare workers.

Institut Català de la Salut (ICS) is the largest public healthcare services provider in Catalonia (Spain), attending 6,000,000 people, in 8 hospitals and about 1,000 primary care centres and rural medical offices, with a staff of more than 55,000 employees.
As a main actor in the Catalan Health System, the ICS has taken the lead in environmental sustainability issues. In that line of work, in 2024 the executive board approved a brave and advanced environmental policy in which is stated that the ICS aims to improve people’s health and quality of life, with the commitment to act in an environmentally sustainable way to mitigate the effects of climate change in accordance with the principles of planetary health.
Regarding this leadership, one of the actions included in the organisation new strategic plan is to adhere to the most relevant international initiatives in health and sustainability such as the Planetary Health Alliance. The ICS commits to collaborate with the Planetary Health Alliance and its members searching for networking opportunities to share the organisation experiences and getting to know success cases, best practices, ideas and inspiration from organisations worldwide.
