Amaan Thawer is an MSc candidate in Global Health at McMaster University and holds an undergraduate degree in Geology from Western University. He serves alongside Yvonne Mongare as Co-Youth Director of the Planetary Health Alliance North American Regional Hub. Grounded in his experiences across India, El Salvador, and Indigenous communities on Turtle Island, Amaan works at the intersection of human rights and health equity to advocate for environments where all people can flourish.
